Redesign/Relaunch and Ongoing Editorial Direction
Willamette University wanted an original take on a flagship magazine. I served as the interim editor for Issue 1 and became the contract editor-in-chief.
“I receive alumni magazines from two other universities, and they pale in comparison as to the substance read here,” said one reader of the Spring 2025 issue.

Editorial Direction
This Summer 2020 issue was “ not only the best issue of Amherst magazine I have ever read, it was the best issue of any magazine I have read since the crises of this spring and summer,” said a reader.
Lafayette Magazine
Redesign/Relaunch Consulting and Editorial Strategy
I partnered with the communications team at Lafayette College and an external design firm on a strategic redesign and relaunch of this flagship publication. I helped to choose the design firm and worked to develop new sections, story lists, and strategies.
